A while back, I told you that Lauren and Hadass asked me to put together a training plan for them, and 10 weeks later, we're one day out from the race.
The training is done, and despite some nerves, I think everyone is going to do a great job tomorrow.
The race is a pretty low key charity race that draws a big crowd of runners and walkers. Apparently there are also medals for all the finishers and a big post-race party, which I think makes it a pretty ideal first race.
It's been nearly three years since I've run a 10K -- kind of hard to believe -- so I'm curious what I can do time wise at that distance.
My last 10K - 34 degrees and raining
I would love to set a new PR, but it's supposed to be warm and sunny tomorrow and I tend to run pretty slowly when it's hot outside.
Either way, I'm excited to race with friends tomorrow and cheer them on as they cross the finish line!
