Now that all my long races are over for the spring, my training is shifting focus from distance running to more triathlon specific workouts.
I was looking at my training plan last night and realized traditional running rest days have been replaced with easy bike rides or recovery swims and long runs have been replaced with brick workouts.
Shit's about to get real.
I have this week as a sort of easier transition week and then from here until the end of June, I'll be trying to figure out how to balance several two-a-day workouts, bricks, long rides and of course my softball games (the season starts in a few weeks!).
