I spent parts of June in Orlando and Philadelphia. I spent time in July at home in PA, and today I'm flying across the country to attend the BlogHer conference in San Diego.
If you've been reading for a while, you may remember I attended this same conference for work last year:
- BlogHer Day One: Business and Martha Stewart
- BlogHer Day Two: BlogHer 5K and Party Time
- BlogHer Day Three: Where I run 10 miles before the conference and have too much swag
I learned a ton and had a blast, and I'm hoping this year's conference lives up to last year's.
I'm also really excited to take part in some of the fitness events that are happening prior to the conference sessions.
On Friday morning I'll be running the BlogHer 5K again. The course runs right along the water, so I plan to take a ton of pictures and share details when I'm back home.
Then on Saturday I'll be participating in a bootcamp class followed by yoga on the waterfront. I think yoga by the water sounds awesome and it's been a really long time since I've taken a yoga or bootcamp class so it will be fun mixing up my routine.
I'm crossing my fingers my plane ride goes smoothly and I land safely in San Diego without any issues. Being stuck on a plane for 5.5 hours isn't exactly something I'm looking forward to, but this conference is so worth dealing with all my flying nerves.
Hopefully next time you hear from me, I'll be writing from the West Coast.
