Pumping Iron

I did it! I finally got over my fear of the weight room (sorta!) and lifted this morning. Upper body only because I wanted to give the legs a rest, they were feeling a little drained.

I hit the free weights for bis, tris, shoulders, chest and back. I'm not too sore, but I think I will be a little bit more tomorrow.

Good job. I'm a lot more comfortable doing weights now than I was when I started. With practice, I feel like I know what I'm doing and I'm okay with my wimpy weights and it's actually something that I look forward to now.

I did a gym workout class with weights today for the first time today too!! how funny! It feels fantastic now, doesn't it?

Weights are fun.. and things like working on the back and core really help with the running! Glad you enjoyed the weight room.

Weights are a good thing. Good way to balance out the running. You are a fitness guru though, so yoiu know that... Have fn!!
